History
The institute was founded by testamentary disposition of Captain Raniero dei Consoli of July 19th, 1584. Its activity started two years later, and continued, next to the other, more ancient, Monte of the city. After the forst half of the nineteenth century, it went under the administration of the local Congregazione di Carità and, in 1873, it was absorbed by the other Monte.
