History
Some records would claim the Monte to be founded in 1430. Most likely, it was founded in 1486, following the preaching of Blessed Bernardine of Feltre in the city. In 1522, the Monte was located in the church of San Lorenzo. In 1527, like other local institutions, it was looted by the Lanzichenecchi. From 1551, the Comune assumed the partial administration of the Monte. The last documentary testimonies date back to 1873. Cassa di Risparmio di Narni inherited its credit activity.
