It has not been possible to find any specific study dedicated to the history of the Monte, probably founded in the sixteenth century. The most ancient documents preserved testify to its activity from 1572. On the other hand, we certainly know it ceased its activity on 5 December 1941, when its incorporation in the Monte di credito su pegno di Macerata was sanctioned.
