History
Founded in 1494, modeled on the Monte di Piacenza, the institute was almost certainly promoted by the Franciscans. The Monte was administered by the Comune until the beginning of the nineteenth century, when it obtained autonomous management. Already in 1926 its suppression was demanded due to lack of activity, yet the institute continued to operate for more than forty years. With Ministerial Decree of August 8th, 1967, its absorption into Cassa di Risparmio di Fiorenzuola was ratified.
