In 1622 the Monte was reopened with the same structure, but an interest rate on loans was introduced in 1665, up to a maximum of 4%. It definitively ceased its activity in 1941, when a decree dated 29 March 1941 incorporated it in the Cassa di risparmio di Ferrara.
