History
The Monte was established by City Council resolution in April, 1494, following the preaching of Observant Franciscan Sisto Locatelli da Rivarolo Mantovano. From 1807, the administration of the Monte passed to the Congregazione di Carità, until 1821, when it regained autonomy. By Decreto Regio dated January 12th, 1928, its incorporation into Cassa di Risparmio di Udine was ratified.
