History
The Monte was founded, modelled on the existing institutes in Padova and Castelfranco, following the lenten preaching by the Franciscan observant Angelo da Padova. This earlier institution was later paired by a second one, but both were then united during the eigtheenth century, due to both's scarce activity. Despite its little activity, the reunited Monte continued to operate well into the XX century and only with a decree dated 10 November 1949 was it revoke the authorization for credit and was its asset put in liquidation.
