History
Founded in 1658, by the will of Bishop Nicola Leti. The Monte went under the episcopal jurisdiction and was governed by a depositary, a conservator of pledges, and other ministers as prescribed in the statutes and related chapters. The institute was partially reformed in June, 1732, by Bishop Simone Gritti. Between the end of the eighteenth and the first decades of the nineteenth century, the Monte was almost inactive. It was refounded with the new statutes of 1835. By Ministerial Decree of September 4th, 1943, the institute went into liquidation.
